Second BAFTA in three years for Creative Assembly
There’s a buoyant atmosphere in the office today as we celebrate our second BAFTA win in three years.
Nominated in a very tough category, CA triumphed over games like Dark Souls and Deus Ex: Human Revolution to bring home the “Best Strategy” BAFTA.
It was a rematch of the 2000 BAFTA awards, in which the original Shogun faced up against the original Deus Ex. On that occasion, it was Deus Ex who walked away with the award, but this time we triumphed!
The trophy is currently making its way around the office, with a very proud team clutching it as reward for a game we’re all immensely proud of.
